The McCoys, caretakers of the Rhyolite site, saw my painting in the Death Valley Art Show, and jubilantly bought it, thinking that it would hang over the bar in the depot once the depot was restored. Unfortunately, fund raisers turned into debt raisers, the depot is still unrestored, and the painting hangs in the Beatty town museum. But, tomorrow is another day.
