I got out at every photo op, and in between was all over the train in various cars, including the Oakland, the palatial private car of the former Southern Pacific president. In contrast, this lady planted herself and her stuff at a table in the All Day Lunch , and never moved the whole day long. To me, the unabashed, carefree bliss of her expression embodies all that's wonderful about train travel.
